The M42 cable type is designed with a solid PTFE dielectric core for moderate low loss applications where the cost/performance ratio is critical and a high signal frequency is desired. The M52 cable type is designed with a wrapped PTFE tape for applications where low Insertion Loss is a priority, and where flexibility and phase stability is a necessity.

Both cable versions have been designed with a triple screen outer conductor which provides excellent phase and temperature stability and are supplied with a rugged molded boot. The unique construction characteristics of this cable provide the highest stability available for this category of cable for loss, phase, VSWR, performance over temperature and flexure exposure.
